About Pastor Chip
Our pastor is Bro. Chip Pinkerton. Pastor Chip is originally from Midland, TX. It’s there that he met his wife of 25 years, Tara. He was saved August 12, 1997 and surrendered to preach in July of 1999. Pastor Chip began his ministry as an Associate Pastor of the Temple Baptist Church in Midland, TX. From there he served as a missionary evangelist with Rock of Ages Ministries until following God’s call to the pastorate. Pastor Chip and his wife Tara are excited to be a part of the LBC family.
Pastor Chip is an expository preacher who believes that the faithful teaching and preaching of God’s word is critical to the spiritual health and vitality of all people (Rm. 10:17). He has a love for people and a desire to reach the world with the gospel.
A Message From Our Pastor
Thank you for your interest in Lukfata Baptist Church. We are a loving family of believers who desire to see the Lord Jesus exalted in our hearts and lives. It’s my personal desire to faithfully teach and preach the word of God in such a way as to encourage and challenge each person in their walk with the Lord. I would also like to encourage every believer to invest the gifts and talents God has bestowed upon them in the work of His Kingdom. I believe that every born-again believer has the opportunity to be a minister for the glory of God and the furtherance of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I would love the opportunity to meet you in person. So, let me personally extend and invitation to you and your family to join us this week as we gather together to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. It would be my great privilege to simply get to know you and to help you to know Christ.
